The Story
Friends of Cancer Patients Society (FOCP) is a charitable, volunteer-based foundation operating as a specialized entity under the umbrella of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah.
FOCP was established during 1999 in accordance with the directives and under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed AI-Qasimi, President of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, and wife of the Ruler of Sharjah & Federal Supreme Council Member His Royal Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al-Qasimi.

For almost three decades, Her Highness, Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qassimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs has played a pivotal role in the social development of women in Sharjah. Starting from 1982, Her Highness has initiated dynamic and innovative organizations and programs, which continue to this day to inspire and empower families, and most specifically women.

On behalf of Friends of Cancer Patients Charity and its esteemed Boardof Trusteesmembers, I would like to welcome you to all to our brand new website. During the end of breast cancer awareness month 2010 we appointed a new company to give FOCP a muchneeded revamp to match our achievements to date.

Is to provide the families with distinctive services that are based on strong standards that aim to fulfil the dignity and pride of mankind on earth.
Mission:
Enhance the role of the family within the Emirate of Sharjah, by taking part in key decision making and legislation, which in turn stipulates how the community centres and their programmes will provide residents with, continues guidance, research and education.
