To accomplish our vision, Friends of Cancer Patients and it dedicated board members, staff and volunteers carry out a broad spectrum of activities for the UAE community.
- Providing Information
As one of the leading cancer organisations in the UAE, Friends of Cancer Patients provide evidence-based and current information that provides our community with a sound understanding on all available information relating to cancer.
Achievements and Awards
- F.O.C.P. was awarded the prestigious Sharjah Award for volunteer work –the health sector- year 2005 and
- The Nobel Humanitarian awards 2010
- F.O.C.P. is a member of the National Committee for Cancer Control in UAE since its establishment in November 2007.
- F.O.C.P. also is the U.A.E. representative in the Gulf Federation for Cancer Control since 2006, and has represented UAE in numerous conferences abroad e.g Qatar conference (May 2006), Kuwait (November 2005), Yemen conference (February 2009).

Current Programs
- Lectures:
Friends Of Cancer Patients provides the community with different lectures modules (as power point presentation or as a video) about cancer and its types, concentrating on spreading awareness and knowledge, promoting early detection and healthy life style emphasizing on smoking hazards and healthy diet and exercise. These lectures are conducted by expert lecturers in their field delivering the information is a simple and understandable manner.
