- Lectures:
Friends Of Cancer Patients provides the community with different lectures modules (as power point presentation or as a video) about cancer and its types, concentrating on spreading awareness and knowledge, promoting early detection and healthy life style emphasizing on smoking hazards and healthy diet and exercise. These lectures are conducted by expert lecturers in their field delivering the information is a simple and understandable manner.
Most common topics: Breast cancer, Cervical cancer, Prostate cancer, Testicular cancer, Skin cancer, Healthy life style, anti-smoking.
Outreach: all community based entities in the UAE (e.g, schools, universities, governmental entities, privet sectors..etc)
Timing: all year long
- Workshops:
Usually accompanying a lecture, or on its own, Friends Of cancer Patient can provide different workshops on cancer detection using educational models and/or videos as visual aid to facilitate understanding.These workshops are conducted by expert lecturers in their field delivering the information is a simple and understandable manner.
Most common topics: Breast cancer, Testicular cancer and Skin cancer.
Outreach: all community based entities in the UAE (e.g, schools, universities, governmental entities, privet sectors...etc)
- Clinics:
Friends Of cancer Patients with the help of highly qualified and trained health care professionals can provide different early cancer detection clinics for free.
These clinics also liaise with different hospitals across UAE for further needed investigations and follow ups.

- Seminars:
Targeting both medical and non-medical audience, seminars is a useful tool for delivering up to date information about different health topics, from cancer related topics ,alternative medicine and holistic approaches to health and disease to more inspirational, self improving and motivational topics and also religious seminars.
- Conferences:
Offering the medical community with the latest science, technology and innovations by hosting and organizing medical conferences and exhibitions.
- Fundraising events:
FOCP organises a variety of events to raise funds for needy cancer patients. Also FOCP has participated in several events as the featured charity like the Oil Barons Ball held in Dubai for the oil and gas industries for the last 3 years, the last fundraising effort raised 410,000 aed and granted six wishes for a select group from our younger patients .FOCP also receives donations and pledges and work very closely with all of our corporate partners and sponsors, without their extraordinary generosity and continuous support year in year out, FOCP would not have been able to support and provide financial aid to our patients
- Cancer support groups:
FOCP has developed its own support group which operates within the Emirate of Sharjah meeting at the charities main office which is located in the SCFA. The charity has affiliations with vast network of various cancer support groups across the UAE to link up survivors, patients and their families to help facilitate emotional moral support to those who require it.
